This awesome grungy 9 track electronic album by PulsR features some incredible music that feel like something from an intense movie scene. The first track "Dreary Land" begins sounding like a background track of one of Battlefield 4's backing songs. Eventually this leads into an action packed hell of an instrumental with complex drum beats and fuzzy synth-bass sounds  One of the tracks that caught my attention right from the start was "Asked For It". This track begins with a simple electronic rhythm but slowly cresends into a mix of unique never heard before sounds that feature ambient modern and futuristic instrumental sounds that deserve to be included in an action war movie.  "Your Bones" is quite similar to the beginning track "Dreary Land" in relation to using similar synth sounds. However the track turns my original expectations of this track down another path when it starts the heavy drum beat that bursts open with life and

Winchester 7 and the Runners release their album "Argos Holiday" One of the first tracks that really caught my attention was "The Golden Age" This song starts with a cresending fuzzy electric guitar introduction that leads into the quiet but powerful halfharmonic vocals, the drums are simple but do the job of keeping the song in track. The electric guitar and bass work well together and the vocals remind me of very early pre2005 Arctic Monkeys songs. "When The World stops Spinning" feels like a Reytons track, also including the fuzzy rock sounds of "The golden age". This song has a more catchy and early rock style than the majority of the songs, the instrumental sections are incredible and action packed. Some of the guitar riffs in "When The World stops Spinning" have a strong 1980s rock vibe.  One of the softer tracks "In the Morning Light" features some unique chord progressions and harmonies, although this song

Quiana Majors 9 song album is an intriguing calming piece of art that feels like something from a saddening movie cut scene. The first song, Noonrise, has some tranquil guitar backing, and eventually some simple drums are introduced, the nature of the vocals are beautiful and ambient. The second song, Small Fry, includes calm, simple but also powerful vocals and instrumentation, it feels like something you'd listen to on a Hawaiian beach as the sun is setting. One song that really drew me in was the instrumental "Bricks" - one of the more complex songs in regard to instrumentation on the album. It features some unique styles of different keys, that don't seem like they should work together, but they do.   The repetitive but acoustic guitar riff is very calming and contrasts well with the unusual haunting synth sounds of the backing. Tha G.T album "Outta Nowhere" This powerful 30 minute rap album features 10 songs, one that really caught my attention is 'No Off Time'.  This track starts quietly and rapidly turns into a vocally and instrumentally complex FIRE track. The repetitive beat doesn't get boring and radiates around my headphones like I'm in the club listening to Tha G.T. "Sayin 2 Much" starts with a nostalgic guitar chord progression, this has to be one of my favourite tracks on the album. The fuzzy electric guitar and action packed drum beat is only one part. The powerful 2 tone vocals really make this track. The nostalgic rhythmic lines are incredible. "Who can you be" gives me the same nostalgic vibes as "Sayin 2 Much"  "Nite Nite Shawty" is an ambient slower paced track, with what feels like a more modern music style. Rhythmic lyrics like the rest of the album, however this song stands out because of the key changes in the voc

The Perfumers - HELP The opening fuzzy electric guitar, immediately took me back to the Ramones with its upbeat lively sound. Very rapidly the vocals are introduced and completely change my original expectations of "Help." The change is skillfully executed, blending the two styles of 1970's punk rock and today's modern sounds seamlessly.  The first time I listened to this track by The Perfumers, the lyrics seemed repetitive. However after several plays and a quick switch to my Bose Headphones, The repetitiveness became catchy and intriguing. It added greatly to my enjoyment of the song.  The introductive vocals quickly crescends into a harmonic funky upbeat section of the track. The electronic sounds towards the end of the song add much to the uniqueness of "Help"  Overall this song is very enjoyable, well executed and culminates in an unique individual way.  One of my senior writers was so intrigued by the authenticity of the Americanised accent

Remixedcat has released a remastered version of his new album "Cosmic Cravings" The special 4 minute track "house of the cat" begins off with a cresending electronic beat that eventually leads into an action packed but repetitive song.  This electronic track by "Remixedcat" is upbeat and complex, and is mixed well with the drum beat of the song.  The song ends dramatically but works well with the next track of the album.  Definitely worth a listen. Australian singer songwriter "Rod Fritz" is releasing his new song "Take the World with Me" This upbeat funky and acoustic track is a beautiful ambient song that will most definitely make your day and inspire you with the rhythmic meaningful lyrics. The simple drum beat and simple chord progressions make for an easy listening track, the type of song you have on in the car on a hot summer's day with the wind blowing through your wavy hair. The catchy chorus will have you singing along for sure!  This happy song by Rod Fritz is definitely worth a listen.

Steroman releases his new upbeat electronic track titled "Splashing around" This track is full of different styles of instrumentation and electronic synths. The complex beat is very intriguing features many different sounds that arent common in this type of music, which makes "splashing around" unique The autotune is a little overdone which is something that could be improved on, however overall the track is fun, upbeat and complex. 

"Metta at the club" - from the new album "Blood cousins IV"  This track features some intriguing drum beats and harmonic background vocals, that perfectly work alongside the slight synth background.  The lyrics are typically about meeting a girl at a bar, but the lyrics are nicely rhythmic and fast spoken, and many different styles of rapping and singing are mixed into this melting pot of a song.  The electronic background is usually isolated from the vocals but in "Metta at the club" its mixed well together. The autotune is obvious however I understand this is very common in the genre.  Definitely check out "Metta at the club"

Dutch band SPIRITBOX release their album titled "Milk".  This 50+ minute Album features 10 ambient songs. 1. Spiritbox 2. Rattlesnakes 3. Doris 4. Rivals  5. Cannibal days 6. Squid machine 7. Alabaster 8. Haunted Man 9. We skinned a ghost (For pleasure) 10. A strange loss This gloomy indie-rock album features some incredible clean electric guitar solos, especially in the track "Squid Machine". 'We Skinned a Ghost' (For pleasure) begins with a Kasabian style drum intro + deep vocal styles. This eventually leads into an astonishing overwhelming chorus that features some grungy fuzzy electric chord progressions.  The dark lyrical style of the album really help portray "Milk" as a haunting powerful unique album.  "Alabaster" begins beautifully with reverbfull chords and fingerpicking and a calm isolated vocal style. This style is also found at an even more amazing level in "Rivals"  You should definitely listen to this i

NATIVE WELLZ: is he this eras Notorious Big? Only time will tell with his unique cadence and flow pattern.  Some could wonder if he can take over the hip hop genre music scene. Now we all know there will never be another Christopher Wallace, but can he capture an audience the same as Biggie did with his stage presence and similar ora. Native Wellz, born Wayne Thompson, was raised on the Southside inner City of Syracuse, N.Y.  where this Lyrical Genius started his journey. His new mixtape POWDER SEX & ECSTASY DROPS IN APRIL. "POWDER SEX, & ECSTASY is something different he wanted give people a little affection street and a Little hood he thinks the people will enjoy this project. Especially with the new single "History" a story telling and lyrical song that will bring you back to the era of Nas and Biggie. You should definitely check out Native Wellz absolutely FIRE tracks. 

Caught in the Loop release a new single named "City of Love"  - This half electronic, half instrumental track features some great harmonic vocal tones, especially towards the beginning of the song. The chorus of "City of Love" is super catchy and will have you singing along to the song for hours. The vocals are introduced very rapidly, but as they are not too isolated it works well with the background. "City of Love" feels like the type of song you'll hear in a slowdown of a party, rave or concert.  You should definitely take a listen! You'll love it

Dustin Morris releases his new single "We Both know" First of all I have to mention how impressed I am with the wonderful harmonic vocals. This catchy ballad feels like a half acoustic half ambient rock song, the simple drum beat and harp instrumentation creates a perfect contrast between these two genres. The vocals are absolutely incredible and are mixed perfectly with the background, not too isolated but also not too tranquil. Towards the end of the song the repetitive chorus becomes heavier and adds some real atmosphere to "We Both Know"  "We both know" is a beautiful ambient and atmospheric track, that is definitely worth listening to.

Old Milk Mooney has released a new EP titled - "Dear Edward" This beautiful EP features 4 songs: - 1 The Company we keep 2 Everything grows 3 Katie's song 4 Mind cruel madness  All the wonderful acoustic songs on "Dear Edward" blend perfectly together, the song "Everything grows" is a perfect example of some incredible ambient complex guitar playing! This track also reminds me of songs from Alex Turner's "Submarine" album. Same for "Katie's song" The isolated vocals are tranquil and rhythmic in all of the tracks. "Mind's cruel madness" feels very raw, but it creates a wonderful atmosphere. The vocals have some calm reverb that really suits the acoustic instrumentation. The most upbeat song "The Company We Keep" is a great introduction track to the EP. Although it is only just over 1 minute, the lyrics are humorous and meaningful, and really intrigues the listener to want to listen to the r

Jessi Grossi - Runaway Indie pop artist Jessi Grossi releases his new upbeat song "Runaway" This catchy track has a unique mix of pop and reggae styles! The vocals are very powerful and unique and the chorus is super intriguing and fun! The lyrics are humorous and will keep you smiling throughout the song. You could leave "Runaway" on repeat for hours and not get tired!! The instrumentation is engaging and the bass is very complex and 'ear' catching haha! Runaway pulls the stress of a relationship into a positive fun tone! Whilst writing this review, I was singing along and if you listen to this funky track by Jessi Grossi I'm sure you will be aswell!

Muddy Honky releases a new track "A Good Home" First of all, the track features some very meaningful lyrics which could be relatable for alot of people. "A Good Home" has some really simple but catchy chord progressions, which help draw the listener in and become more intrigued to listen further. Towards the end of the song, there is a turning point in the melodic vocals, where the singer speaks some caring words; "nothing in this world will last forever" The instrumentation has a very unique style that isn't heard in many songs. It's a great experimental piece of art. A beautiful song that you should most definitely check out. 

Indie rock band 'Left Hand Black' release their song "Let's scare Jessica to death" as part of their album "Left hand black"  This upbeat song begins with a fast introduction, that quickly leads into a heavier Chorus. The track includes some incredibly powerful guitar solos and complex drum beats. The vocals are exceptional, however sometimes the instrumentation is too loud and deafens the singer. Overall this track features some very unique styles and is definitely worth a listen if you are into rock!

Cockadoodledoo! "Crain to" release their song "Suppose it's so" This instrumental track is very upbeat, and it begins with a very calm guitar solo, which eventually cresends into a very upbeat repetitive spanish style guitar instrumental!  The complicated ever changing drum beat is very unique and the mellow tones of the electric guitar lift the entire mood of the track! The brass instruments solo towards the end of the track is very unique and interesting!  Definitely worth a listen.

'Onism E' - "Be Strong" Be Strong is a track from Onism E's album "Survivors" The mellow track begins with a calm drum solo and soothing electric guitar solo.  The instrumentation of the song is detailed but tranquil with perfect contrast. The vocals are very isolated but the singers voice is wonderful and unique.  The songwriting is very meaningful and heartfelt, it works well with the musical ethos of Onism E's track. Definitely worth a listen

Lunar Call release their new single "Needles" 'Needles' opens with ambient keyboard sounds and light drums and eventually drops into an overwhelming instrument filled vocal packed verse.  The song is laid out like a rollercoaster, some parts light pop, some sections comparable to heavy rock bands.  The powerful vocals mix well with the heavy chorus that leads into the end of the song dramatically. The lyrics are well written, however similar to many other songs, a more experimental style of lyrics would improve the song. 'Needles' is a great track, and is definitely worth a listen if you are interested in alt rock music!

Adolfo Garcia - Ethereal Dream A relaxing tranquil instrumental single, split into two parts.  This beautiful single is perfect for diving into a world of emotion and feelings, and perfect to fall asleep or study to.  The music dives you into a gorgeous trance which completely overwhelms listeners with peace.  The complex guitar works perfectly with the dreamy back noise. Close your eyes, sit down and relax to Adolfo Garcias incredible instrumental single. 

Indie artist 'Meghan Pulles' releases her new track "New Horizon" The song is a cinematic soundscape that wraps itself into the world of 'emopositive' music. "New Horizon" offers listeners a happy, exciting, song that really sets its tone.  Meghan Pulles unique and special vocals really help the song stand out from the crowd, and it will convert the listeners mood instantly. The ending fades nicely and works wonderfully with the rest of the track. I cannot fault this wonderful ballad.

chainsaw rainbow releases his new track "Analog Luv Trance" The track opens with hauntingly ambient grungy sound which immediately conjures up images of a dark and dangerous subterranean space deep within the listeners mind. As I further delved into this unique track "Analog Luv Trance", I found myself elevated from the subterranean thoughts I had in the beginning, to outer space in direct contrast. Purposefully repetitive, the listener will find themselves transformed into a trance like state, further enhancing their ability to interpret the sounds, which are open to the individual listeners interpretation. Take a listen and see where this track transports your mind.

Britta Pejic has released a new song called "Dangerous Boy." The track starts with a powerful instrumental that builds up to unleash the beautiful vocals of Britta Pejic. We've all been there before. Where your world becomes about one person. In this case the person is the "dangerous boy". The song could he described as an alternative/pop/rock mashup, based on the first 30 seconds you wouldn't be surprised if I told you it sounded like something from Queen.  The song eventually leads into some magical harmonic vocals, which emphasise how the song goes through emotions like a rollercoaster.  "Dangerous Boy" is a very good track, which captures the feelings of the listener well. However the anticlimactic ending leaves you feeling like the song was missing something. The album is well worth a listen!

The Florida rock band "The Alleys" have a new track called "looking for you" on their album "The November Curse" which was released earlier this year. The track begins with a rapid but tranquil guitar intro, which eventually lead into calm vocals, which mix perfectly with the simple instrumentation in the background. "Looking for you" enables listeners to get a great first glimpse at The Alleys sounds. The songwriting is effortless and work well with the ethos of the music and instruments. The climactic chorus holds tones of emotion which assist to grasp the listener to the heartfelt relatable narrative of the song. Towards the end of the track, the the instrumental mutation becomes heavier and perfectly adds that extra push needed to fulfill the rock song. "Looking for you" is a great piece of work overall, however the track could be improved with louder and more powerful vocals.  Definitely worth a listen. 

The Alleys, a Florida based Indie rock band, formed in the mid 1990's, have released an incredible 40+ minute album titled "The November Curse"  The only remaining living member of the band, Nick Kulikowsky, now carries the band solo. “Skinless” is the new single from the Brooklyn- based indie rock band War Honey. It’s a break-up song that continues the band’s mission of “writing sad songs with lots of reverb”, and the band’s first new music release since they dropped their debut EP “Shard To Shatter” in December 2020. Like “Shard To Shatter”, “Skinless” was recorded in the Brooklyn apartment War Honey’s members all share, but it moves away from the bedroom pop sound explored on the EP.  “Skinless” merges ambient, noise-driven guitar textures with rock-oriented songwriting.
