War Honey - Skinless

“Skinless” is the new single from the Brooklyn-
based indie rock band War Honey. It’s a break-up song that continues the band’s mission of “writing sad songs with lots of reverb”, and the band’s first new music release since they dropped their debut EP “Shard To Shatter” in December 2020. Like “Shard To Shatter”, “Skinless” was recorded in the Brooklyn apartment War Honey’s members all share, but it moves away from the bedroom pop sound explored on the EP.

“Skinless” merges ambient, noise-driven guitar textures with rock-oriented songwriting. It sees the band lean into their post-punk and experimental influences, while still retaining the dreamy atmospheres that defined their work up to this point.
