Dallas based artist "Todd Barrow" releases "Gonna Drive".   American country singer-songwriter "Richard Lynch" releases "Hurtin' Cheatin' Lyin' Country Song" This is the most country inspired track I've heard that's been created recently. The southern accent of Richard is truly typical for country artists and feels incredibly perfect and pictorial.  It's a lively foot stomper that's for sure.  It has all the perfect instruments that make a country piece of art, from Acoustic Guitar to Hihat based percussion. It builds and changes constantly, until the funky end with a description of what a perfect country song is.  Each lyric is really off-the-tongue and original, and you'll never stop singing along to the chorus.   Tedi Brunetti releases "Evil Woman" as part of her debut album "Queen of Pittsburgh" "Evil Woman" is really an electric track, with rhythmic lyrics being the front and structure of this unique track. It really points to classic styles with the bluesy organ and harmonic backing vocals. The Hawaiian inspired guitar is something not found at all in the modern music scene, so it's truly great to hear this implemented. The lyrics are humorous and funny, it'd be perfect for a movie theme as it creates such a pictorial, cinematic movement inside the listeners head. A crybaby wah riff gets under the spotlight for an aweinspiring solo towards the end of the track.  Tedi Brunetti's music is bound to end up in hollywood classics sometime soon! Check it out below

  Randy Seedorff releases "Dream" as part of "Begin Again" Now this is truly a classic! It's also Randy Seedorff's most streamed track so far, and it's easy to see why. There's a unique, wonderful mix of Acoustic and electric guitars, adding range and coldplay like instrumentation to the track. The true highlight is the country vocals that have a slight modern twist to them.  There's so many little intricate, hidden details to "Dream" such as reverbful piano that all add together to make this a huge masterpiece.  The drums never give up throughout, constantly giving it their best, with fast paced licks and deep main beats.   Miss Freddye releases "Something To Believe In" At 4 minutes long, you'd expect to lose interest eventually, but I can assure you this is certainly not the case at all! It's so nostalgic in the 70's / 80's pop sense. High pitched synths add so much to the soundscape, alongside the catchy piano and electric guitar. It also bursts with a modern sense of experimental music, and clear, top production. Production of most tracks nowadays is respectable, yet this radiates in each ear, and each element is clear and all play their own part. It's well thought out for sure. It's suspenseful in a happy way towards the end as it builds instrumentally with new styles being showcased and implemented, emotional harmonies lead it into the end.

  Matt Westin releases "Thin Blue Line" Showing appreciation for Police Officers who serve to protect the public, officer Matt Westin releases a brand new track titled "Thin Blue Line" Rhythmic meaningful lyrics work alongside the rock instrumentation soundscape. He has a song that is filled with so many sounds that are distinguishable at each second, and also succeed in delivering the message by not drowning out the lyrics.  Opening with muffled percussion and electric guitar, you immediately know you're in for a funky rock ride!   Country inspired singer "Larry Jay" releases "Heaven". This is acoustic ballad is truly meaningful, love driven and heartfelt.  It even holds the emotional power to make you tear up, talking about someone close to them, and how going to heaven would enable them to see them again, and visit them. It's open to personal interpretation from the listener, which makes it all more meaningful and builds that important bond with artist and listener. The acoustic backbone is complex, and the simple maraca percussion allows for the vocals and lyrics to be clear, prominent and not muffled at all. Check it out below

  John Vento releases "For What It's Worth" Beginning with an ambient, pictoral, harmonic introduction, the track draws you in immediately with it's truly original feel. The song unfolds when you least expect it, forcing you to listen to the first class production of a classic rock style song. Some might call it "outdated", yet to me, it's nostalgic and refreshing in a world drowned out with modern pop. Screeching riffs add a range of depth, that's truly incredible and fierce.   Having listened to many of John Vento's songs in the past, I can whole heartedly say that the artist is truly developing and is beginning to truly showcase his talents and ability.   Tom Tikka and The Missing Hubcaps release a brand new funky track titled "Heart's On Fire" This 3 and a half minute track is what can truly be called a masterpiece, I can't begin to imagine how electric this would be live! It has influences from genres such as World Music, Pop, and even Rock. It bursts with life after a short introduction, with a catchy repetitive riff and harmonic vocals. It evolves constantly with the addition of delay to the fuzzy electric guitar, and structured rests before the unfolding at the final chorus.  A catchy electric solo takes the centre stage and spotlight towards the end of the track, sounding like it has taken influence from Band's such as the Arctic Monkeys in their prime.      Check it on Spotify here

Right from the get go a powerful, modern beat hits deep with its unique elements, and sells an  sense of grandeur with everything layered alongside it. It’s within this beat of rhythmic percussion and stylised electronic instrumentation flourishes that the album becomes a powerful compilation of tracks.
