In „Bilder“ geht es um Abschied und das Loslassen nach einer Liebesbeziehung. Zentrale Elemente sind Trauer, Schmerz und das Dilemma zwischen gemeinsamer Zeit auf der einen und dem Neuanfang auf der anderen Seite. Um sich von besagtem Schmerz und den Erinnerungen zu lösen, bricht das lyrische Ich sämtlichen Kontakt mit seinem Gegenüber ab und betont den Wunsch nach Distanz und Autonomie. Gleichzeitig bringt es jedoch auch seine Sehnsucht zum Ausdruck und räumt ein, seinen Partner zu vermissen.

“Bilder” is about saying goodbye and letting go after a love affair. Central elements are grief, pain and the dilemma between spending time together on the one hand and a new beginning on the other. In order to detach itself from the pain and the memories, the lyrical subject breaks all contact with its counterpart and emphasizes
the desire for distance and autonomy. This brings it to express its longing. It’s about missing and letting go.

Review - The track "Bilder" is very upbeat and uplifting, but the lyrics are meaningful and important. 

The simple but fun chord progressions allows for a catchy listen and a perfect singalong acoustic song! 

The vocals are very powerful but seem tranquil at the same time. These two themes do mix perfectly.
