Zalex - Hindsight
US based "Zalex" have released a 5 track EP titled "Hindsight"
The first track is titled "Pieces", a song written for Zalex's Mother.
This calming song never fails to intrigue, with the smooth, clear vocals and ever changing soundscape. It holds a very refreshing feel, especially in a world drowned out with tiktok songs and pop. It's unique and bursts with creativity.
The 2nd track is titled "Friend", about a rescue guinea pigs story, called "Cookie"
This primarily acoustic song also holds a tranquil calming feel, yet it feels more raw, and clinical. Although it has this live feel, it is fulfilling and has a love driven narrative. The stories behind Zalex's songs are meaningful, which proves the artist has a drive and is passionate about what he does.
The funky progression evolves and changes throughout, ensuring you keep involved and engaged.

The 3rd track is titled "Endless", about reincarnation and what Zalex feels life is.
With a similar acoustic vibe to "Friend", this track is another cinematic song that ensures the listener will build a sweet bond with the artist, creating a fanbase. The complex guitar and dreamy harmonic backing vocals are elements that aren't found commonly in music today, further proving how Zalex's music flows with originality.
The 2nd to last track is "Normal" about living with ADHD and coming to terms with it.
This pictorial song is incredibly well produced, each section and element plays an integral part in creating the final piece. The slight electronic feel added to the vocals brings a modern twist to the guitar and light percussion that keeps the well thought out structure together. + it's super catchy!
The finale is titled "Origami" - about change and finding the best side of yourself.
This 4 and a half minute long song is quite long, but it doesn't drag at all, and continues to twist and unfold in ways impossible to predict. Towards the end of this action packed track, there's a burst in the intensity and instrumentation with new fulfilling elements entering the soundscape, until the rapid end that leaves you urging to hear more from Zalex.
Finding artists like this in the current music scene is incredibly rare, so much thought has been put into each song, and this is destined to be all worthwhile.
