Polyphonic Exophilia - Vol. 2

This aweinspiring 4 track EP by Polyphonic Exophilia begins with "ups et pertulerat"

At 5 minutes long, you'd expect that the listener will lose interest rather quickly, yet, this couldn't be any further from the truth. This unique instrumental track intrigues the listener right from the get go, not giving any moments of downtime, and ensuring that the already complex soundscape doesn't stop evolving and changing.

The 2nd track is titled "Dance with fire"

Beginning with an almost alien like introduction, the track begins to engage an upbeat, catchy musical vibe straight away, with the introduction of deep, fast paced vocals and a cinematic, radiating, first class level of production. It truly feels like something out of a movie, with the middle eastern vibe melodies and evolving percussion.

"God is what people make of it"

With a subdued, tranquil start, the listener will probably not be drawn to the track straight away, until the wah pedal full guitar begins to unfold until the percussion and vocals enter. The funky bassline never fails to impress and keeps the well thought out structure of the song in place.

"when the lockdown is over"

After another slowpaced intro, the track unfolds in a sequence, allowing new elements to enter, from maracas and drums, to some incredible layered electric guitar patterns. Towards the end there is a burst in colour, with creativity and originality coming to the forefront of the song, before the slow decresendo.
