Muro - With You feat. Bobby John

"With You" is an uplifting & energetic pop ballad by Atlanta based artists Phil Ross as part of his music project MURO. "I wrote this song as a tribute to a girlfriend and all girlfriends about finally feeling comfortable knowing they are the one for you." stated Ross. Featuring smooth and wonderful vocals from the very talented Toronto-born singer, Bobby John, "With You" has been compared to the music of Zedd, Chainsmokers, Alesso, etc.

What got you into music?
Music is my life and I have never been drawn to anything else as strongly as I was to music. My mother and father both played instruments and I was introduced at a very young age. "Without music, life would be a mistake." - Nietzsche

When did you release your first song?
Probably about age 16 with some high school friends, for this project (08/06/21) Is the official release date with a Spotify release and an official video on Youtube.

What instruments do you play?
I grew up in the studio so guitar, bass, drums, keys, then as I got older I got into music production and audio engineering and here I am today :)

How do you produce and release your music?
I write my songs on the piano or guitar and sing the melodies, write words, get the vocalist to sing the tune and then produce the track around my song as a base. I use Pro Tools and then send out to Freelance Artists. I use many outlets for blogs and press like Submithub, as well as using Distrokid for spotify and itunes distribution.

Whgo are you biggest infelueces musically?
90's rock and writing style. Very much based around a song and melody and let the production come after. Song-writing has always been something I have done, but recently have turned my efforts more toward commercial Pop and Muro Was born. I love all music from 90's rock to eminem to Atlanta's rap sound to classical. Everything.

In what genre would you describe your music being?
It's Commerical Pop (Top 40, Pop, Electronic)

Do you write your own songs?
Yes, using piano or guitar and then recording into Pro Tools.
