Pierre Lecarpentier - By the River

French artist "Pierre Lecarpentier" releases "By the River", alongside Vincent Paraboschi.

This classic rock feel number never expresses any downtime, it truly pushes the listener to a groovy overload in the best ways at many points. A standout moment is the big crescendo at the end of the 4 minute track, wherein there is a lull in the intensity, before an explosion of noise led by powerful guitar riffs. The guitar riffs are complex, fulfilling and truly headbanging!

You’re met with classic rock drums that do their job in keeping the tight rhythms whilst the guitars go on their loud adventure. If you’ve been looking for riffs galore, atmospheric vocals and noisy, big and confident sounds, then definitely check out Pierre Lecarpentier.

Opening with lilting electric guitar , the beat of steady gated-drums kick in, complete with a funky guitar fuzz – a vibe of that familiar 60s indie rock that needs to be revived.. The vocals hold this vibe, yet have a unique, original sense to them, think along the lines of a mixture of The Beach Boys and Ashcroft!

The track is arguably quite long, yet it never fails to intrigue the listener and keep them involved in this energetic record.
