Pan Arcadia - In Vain
New York based band "Pan Arcadia" have released a new single titled "In Vain"
Arriving on the staccato of guitar and drums, the track immediately draws you in with it's light hearted indie summer vibe.
It isn't just a typical track... it features looked out for key signatures and still has a classic band style feel to the backing instrumentation, yet it truly bursts with creativity, originality and uniqueness.
The vocals are introduced smoothly, perfectly mixed with the instrumentation. The funky bass line reminds me of early Libertines or Arctic Monkey styles, and continues to dance around, keeping the song's structure and feel throughout.
It never gives a moment of downtime and pushes the listener to an upbeat overload in the best ways possible. A standout moment is the big crescendo at the end, wherein there is an unfold of the soundscape led by complex guitar riffs and fast paced percussion.
It's truly a catchy, intriguing track, and although it's only 2 and half minutes long, it doesn't fail to impress, not one bit!
