Lolitas Lovers - Big Fuss EP
Sound Engineer and Singer/songwriter guitarist Duo Lolitas Lovers have created a new 4 track EP titled "Big Fuss"
The first track is titled "MmmEeezZzzz"
It begins with the introduction of smooth, clear vocals, amongst the upbeat, funky soundscape that consists of a wide variety of instrumentation, from classic summer vibe acoustic drums, to electric guitar. The melodies in which the vocals follow is almost lullaby like.
As the track progresses, many different styles are introduced, and the clean tones make way into a dreamy ambience of tranquility, that cinematically unfolds with suspence and coldplay vibe music.
The 2nd track is "OUT OF THINKING"
Oozing with a dreamy softness and a subtle sadness, the tone is pure, gentle and utterly heavenly. Pouring his heart into every phrase, this song represents an emotive lyric to the listener. This offering carries a sophisticated yet powerfully healing song. Prepare to enter an intricate calm soundscape, enveloping your ears whilst angelic vocal guides you through with intimacy, authenticity and grace.
The track becomes heavier leading towards the end, it fills with complexity and power, before fading dramatically at the end of the almost 4 minutes.
It leads wonderfully into the next song, named "YELLOW SPARKS"
Although the 2nd to last track of the EP is 5 minutes long, there is never any moments of downtime, it manages to keep you intrigued and listening throughout the musical journey.
The vocals are introduced a little after an instrumental intro, they radiate around through you, with occasional harmonies and cymbals that add a range of depth and structure to the track.
A unique, fast paced electric guitar solo takes center stage after the half-way point, and carries the track on it's shoulders before the end.
The finale is "BREAKFAST"
It's a shorter track compared to the rest of the EP, yet the Lolitas Lovers manage to cram in a whole lot of action! "Breakfast" is filled funky, early 2000's indie rock bass lines that dance around the soundscape forcing you to groove along and headbop to the catchy, embedding chord progression. It feels like a mix of Nirvana and Modern Alt-Rock.
