Astrixion - My Resolve

 Texas based heavy metal band "Astrixion" have released a new single titled "My Resolve"

Beginning with an unfolding and ever changing soundscape, it grabs your attention immediately, for you to listen to the variety of instruments and styles being introduced as the song progresses. There isn’t a strict structure within the track, but the interchanging sections are differentiated by changes in its spacey tones and thickened textures that move the cosmic track perfectly in four-dimensional directions. The flow of the music manifests itself incredibly well, creeping up on itself to contribute another pillar of robust melody. 

The atmosphere of the track hits you like a literal metal brick and cements the foundations of what's to come. Typical screamer heavy metal takes centre stage for large sections of the track, yet the vocals still have wonderfully sung melodies, that create a dreamy sections with certain elements before the chorus.

It cleverly creates a haunting, dystopian, alternative atmosphere, that brings originality and free spirits to the table. The intriguing song has an airy, almost alien, cinematic texture that bounces from ear to ear, drawing the listener in and leaving them eager, on the edge of their seats. The catchy beat is fast tempo, and works incredibly well with the influences of Slipknot and other popular heavy metal bands and artists.

It's truly a powerful song that roars with anger and wickedness, the stamina is never lost, not once, throughout the entirety of the 4 minutes.

My Resolve really is song that fills each of your 5 senses. Your heart beat will beat rapidly and your ears ring with its seemingly infinite vitality, all making a hazy, cinematic atmosphere by the time the track comes to a dramatic end.

I can only imagine how amazing and impactful it would be on live stage.

Barcelona based band  "Morningblind" release an 11 track album -  "The Weight of the World" The opening track is the focus track, "The Weight of the World" The majority of tracks that are 5 minutes long, lose their interesting elements eventually, but in this track, that couldn't be any further from the truth!
