Bankflow Family - Music Reborn

Bankflow Family have released a new 1 hour album titled "Music Reborn"

The introduction track is titled "Until It's Over"

The track begins with an ambient atmosphere, including calming female vocals alongside the rhythmic rap vocals. It really sets the scene for the rest of the track. 

The eerie concoction of hypnotic composition and addictive melodies fuse together to create a haunting, dystopian, surreal feel.

The next song "Breath of Fresh Air" has alot of meaning behind the tranquil, fulfilling piano nature.

The instrumentation is fronted by a strong groove and rhythmic, powerful vocals, where model adlibs resonating from deep bass and piano accompaniment that dances around the main vocal line.

The song builds up only slightly with additional choral harmonies and faster piano, the narrative is like an opiate to the ears; its intriguing, soothing and downright dreamy.

One track that really caught my attention in "Music Reborn" was "Testimony"

The backing instrumentation contrasts with the previous songs such as "Life is a journey" - that carries a nostalgic hiphop vibe.

"Testimony" is fronted by a more electronic feel, prominent, heavy beat. 

The song is lyrically very meaningful, and is unique. The rhythmic process talks about how God is always by our side, and how he will turn our Test into a 'Testimony" - Very powerful, and adds a great sense of complexity and eagerness to the song. 

This feel blends perfectly into the next track - "NS"

The production of the track has an integral part to play in its sound, making the flow of the smooth on another level. Most music of this style nowadays does have a respectable level of production but to get a track that highlights its sound in an aesthetically pleasing style in addition to its incredible composition is a real treat. "NS" does this perfectly.

It's a very impactful song, the unique style is more than capable of making thousands bow down and succumb to its greatness. Get ready to hear "NS" everywhere.

The 10th track is "I Got Options" 

This follows a nostalgic, promise feel similar to the start of the album especially in "Victorious"

"I Got Options" is an adventurous offering that showcases how rap/hiphop and overall music continuously evolves. It grooves in with its spacious production, near-perfect vocals and complex instrumentation.

Also featuring "Karizmatik", the next song is "Day Of The Reckoning"

There's a quiet intensity and use of modern musical techniques alongside classical styles in "Day Of The Reckoning"

The complex elements acting as far off backing make this track a deep track, mixing with the forefront of clear fast rap.

The next track is a hypnotic, chill song named "Drift" 

"Drift" continues with the albums exploration of themes. The ease and subtlety of the eerie, ambient music is delivered with no uncomfort, it comes smooth, effortlessly and sultry.

The next song that deserves my attention features "Unique Soul" and the aforementioned "Karizmatik"

Rather than pushing everything to the back, there's these much more uplifting and powerful moments where synth, and drums and other backing instruments come forward, threatening to swallow the vocals in a wash of upbeat, expressive, explosive sound.

This soulful track is brimming with elegance.

The 2nd to last song is "Musical Inspiration"

(Featuring Sisters Of Element)

A real infusion of sounds, it takes elements of pop, and soul, rap, and hiphop, to create a hugely fulfilling and uplifting piece of artwork. The real strength behind this track, however, is the vocals themselves.

Like any good song it needs a real driving force which gives the song meaning, and the unrelenting dynamism the vocals can command from the vocal chords gives this in bucket loads.

The final track is "Black Excellence"

In a way this almost feels like two different songs places, theres playful sound effects in some places, parts of it feel like a modern pop song, but sometimes it is more stripped back, where the vocalist(s) are allowed to display the range of vocals they possess. 

I like the way Bankflow Family have used music to bring a message and meaning to listeners. Especially in this final track where they successfully combine topical references and lamented commentary with warm, vintage production. - intelligent, creative lyrical content shines behind vocals delivered with absolute confidence and conviction.
