This well put together mixtape is the listeners ultimate music collection, featuring many different style and genres, unique sounds and metaphoric lyrics.
 
This is a great portfolio of what Joviky can do, it's a combination of Joviky's ideas, freestyles and songwriting journey since 2019 until now.

2 - "Losing My Yesterday" is an incredible nostalgic hiphop style track that showcases a harmonic chorus and upbeat fast verses.

One track that really caught my attention was "5 - Thankless", also featuring a similar style beat to "Losing My Yesterday" but includes a more rhythmic vocal styles that contrasts well with the calm but also inspirational beat. The synth sounds and more isolated vocals in this track really make this unique from the rest of the mixtape.

"Bless Ur Heart" is a very powerful track from a vocal point of view. The vocals are more harmonic and the lyrics are meaningful and heartfelt. This also has the same nostalgic feel present in the majority of the Mixtape's tracks.

The acoustic sounds and low laying creak vocals of the short track "Alabama" are very ambient and do a great job at slowing down the feel of the mixtape as is comes towards the end, this also has a completely different contrast to the next track, which features a more electronic haunting sound. 

15 - "Carefree" brings back the same feel as the mixtape did at the beginning, hiphop drum beats and broken high octave piano chords. 18 - "Last day" also brings me back to the beginning of the mixtape however the one difference is the rare brass instruments and choir style backing vocals.

The short interludes are great at setting the mood of the certain sections of the mixtape and are very good at differentiating the different styles.

The freestyle "In my city" (23) showcases Joviky's incredible musically creative thought process.

Definitely worth a listen. Aweinspiring mixtape.

Folk-Hop Vol.II Jesse Aymon Dettwiler, most commonly known as C4C, is a multi-instrumentalist composer and music producer. This is the second chapter of C4C's Folk-Hop Movement Debut LP. This new "Folk-Hop" style has been described as "indie-folk culture finally catches the hip-hop bounce"  Us at IndieX couldn't disagree with that statement at all. C4C blends together sounds that work on so many levels. All the tracks move seamlessly as you're taken in by the immersive listening experience.
