Karma Town release "Oh No"

Israeli Karma Town release break up inspired track, titled - "Oh No"

Without a doubt, Oh No, which has already surpassed 30,000 streams on spotify, is heavily inspired by the kings of pop music both old and new. With it’s heavy dance beats that are filled with intricate effects and smooth vocals, it shows that Karma Town are one viral song away from hitting the big time.

The track may be relatively mainstream in places with its pitch shifted vocals and upbeat, pop production, yet it's the tracks breathtaking unique elements that steal the show. Not just the generic four chords you hear in every song, this single also drifts into comforting corners of hope. It sounds like James Blake collaborated with The Weeknd, and we’re completely living for it. Memorable from the get go, this radio-worthy single is a true asset to Karma Town's incredible, ever-changing bow.
It's a track that is filled with bombastic drums, funky guitars and a bass that runs so deep that you can feel it.

The guitars are mixed in lightly, taking a back seat and joining the synth and other effects. Acting as gentle flourishes that run throughout the song, they add a lot of flavour to each individual moment. It shows that the composition isn’t just the same beat run back over and over as the lyrics do the work. Instead there’s clear thought put into every individual moment of the track from start to finish.

It really is a track that will linger in your head after you’ve listened to it, it deserves to be stuck on repeat while you're constantly immersed in it's catchy, ethereal, danceable soundscape.

Oh No shows excellent technical application, alongside original songwriting and an attention to detail that’s worth applauding. There’s a real chance that Karma Town could break out into the mainstream music scene at any moment.
