Icy Narco - Stress

South Florida based sensation "Icy Narco" releases a brand new single, titled "Stress"

Taking inspiration from such a wide variety of genres, from rock, to modern trap, ensures this track constantly expresses with huge amounts of uniqueness, and creativity. From the get-go, the electric guitar base continues to draw the listener in and intrigue them with the juxtaposition of the modern vocals and classic instrumentation.

Seeing as Icy Narco's previous tracks, such as Numb & Frozen, have reached multiple millions in streams on Streaming Platforms, it's safe to say that Stress has massive potential, I wouldn't be surprised to hear this 24/7 on the radio in the coming months.

The complex structure and clever lyricism makes for a truly well rounded song, topped by the clinical production, and upbeat feel it provides.

Check out "Stress" below! Alongside an exclusive interview with the artist.

What got you into music?
As a younger I was really curious about different things, thats my nature. I was a very energetic kid. No, I was crazy as a kid, I was a hurricane. I did a lot of stupid things, went through a lot, got in some trouble…you feel me? Then I started rhyming and flowing with my boys when I was 17, playing around on the little USB mic to random YouTube beats you know what I’m sayin’? Then, I started to fall in love with the music. It brought me to a dark, yet happy place, a place I was able to just let it all out. Music became my natural high, music gave me something I never got from anything else, a sense of release and laser focus. So I focused in. I knew I had a message and I became determined to share it.

When did you release your first song?
I released my first track "You" in 2017 only on SoundCloud. From there it went crazy.

What instruments can you play?
I play a little bit of keys, I can mess around on guitar,  I'm like a sponge so I'm always trying to learn something when I'm in musical environment. But when it comes down it vocals, lyric, the writing is what I've focused on the most up to this point. With that being said you might see Narco rocking on stage with a bad guitar soon!

How do you produce and release music?
That’s a big question, First of all, I work with several producers. Collaborating is key. I'll get beats from platinum producers, or  young kids on the come up (that is very important, always listen to what the next generation is going) and I'll sit with my engineer and free style and piece together the vocals that I like, and have a song. That's what I did on "Link".

If I'm with the team in Nashville myself or Mo (Mo Brown) will start free styling melodies on a track or an idea Zach (Zach Seabolt) started and we go off. Mo is a specialist at big hooks, We collaborate I put my vibe on some of the melodies, and we just go full speed. It's usually a really fast process the first day, and then we come back to it and perfect it. Until I started working in Nashville I never worked like this much in LA, but it's so inspiring to be in a room with people that inspired you, and push you to work harder!

To answer your next question, now that I'm an independent artist, I am distributing my music through a Indie label I am a partner in Terrible Children Records. Our distributor is FUGA! A lot more news on this soon, I excited for this new chapter in my career.

Who are your biggest musical influences?
xxxtentacion, Kid Cudi, Journey, Kayne West, Lil Uzi Vert, Blink 182, My Chemical Romance, All Time Low, Janes Addiction, Paramore so much more. I like music that sounds big, and is full of emotion. Those artists did that in beautiful ways. That’s what I’m trying to.

In what genre would you describe your music as being in?
I’m a genre bender. I never want to known for doing one thing. I am growing up and I'm evolving a person, and my songs and "sound" are evolving with me. Call it rock, hip hop, pop or what ever! I'm just giving my fans Icy!

Do you write your own songs?
Of course, but I like collaborate. Collaboration is essential in the music industry. Four people in a room make
