Berlin based artist Ria Rik has released a song called "Favourite Track"

Built upon the foundations of a classic, upbeat sunshine bop, comes a new single from this upcoming musician. This new tune is constructed from a joyful, funky chord progression, dreamy piano, and a playful bluesy electric bassline. 

Gently mounting across its runtime, it’s a steady and gentle progression. One bolstered by the subtle introduction of its 80's pop feel. The highlight here is most definitely the smooth, jazzy vocals. Airy and ephemeral at first, they strengthen as the track progresses, bolstered in turn by its love driven narrative.

The heart-on-sleeve lyricism, the exquisite production and the confidence in stepping outside his typical genres and approach are all worth highlighting. Rich, if not nuanced, "Favourite Track" showcases the artists innate classic pop sensibility almost perfectly.
