Era'nay - Elevate EP

Louisville based artist Era'nay has recently released her debut EP, titled "Elevate"

The 6 track journey begins with "Waiting For".

This girl’s voice is stunning, it's smooth and atmospheric, and it suits the song really well. There is a little bit of reverb and echo effects that add so much depth to the track. The vocals and lyrics are supported really well by the action packed beat and the harmonic, layered vocals add even more to this beautiful and moving song – It's easy to get stuck listening to it on repeat!

The next track is "In My Feelings" ft. Darrin Lee Jr, and T Real.

Dipping into the popular modern territory with spacious, fast paced instrumentation, it really sets the scene right from the start with the tranquil introduction. There are lightbulb lyrics throughout and I’m absolutely certain that there will be people who will relate to this.

Exploring her love for a unique style of modern songwriting, this track could find its way dancing to the top of the charts, or becoming a dance challenge, either way – it’ll be successful.
It's a song that will instantly boost your mood and get those endorphins flowing, whatever interpretation, it’ll leave you smiling from ear to ear.

Next up is "Stay"

Beginning with a muffled sound, it instantly draws the listener in, eager to hear what's to come.
The clear vocals are introduced smoothly and quickly... It somehow grabs hold of you and tells you to be right here, in this present moment and live every moment to the full.
The melodies and stucture continue to be complimented heavily by the well thought out vocals whilst leaving ample room for development in the instrumentation throughout the song.

The additional layers in the verses provide the song with a little more substance, decorating the linear melodies with an arrangement of satisfyingly sweet auditory. The aesthetic use of reverberated effects on both instrumental and vocal elements adds a little more thickness to the song too, providing an established weight to the music.

It leads perfectly into the final track of the EP.
Seeing her vocals transform from a soft legato to an authoritative style adds an atmospheric glow of excitement. Seeing her display this side of her vocals is certainly inviting- performing with a fierce power whilst still pushing her glossy tone certainly boosts the track’s energy.
The overall sound of ‘Farewell’ and the EP is extravagantly distinct, the twists of R&B originality and freshness in the music paired with its appealing production and vocal development creates an engaging and welcoming air.
