American singer/songwriter, violinist, mandolinist, educator, composer and producer Chris Murphy releases a new album - "Sovereign."

The opening track is "Till The World Lifts Its Head Again"

This track features delicate, and tender melodies paired with almost hushed yet powerful vocals making the song feel almost like a meditation. You find yourself still, simply taking in the melody and lyrics. Admittedly, this isn’t a style of music I’d usually listen to but I’ve enjoyed the calm, melancholy vibe it creates... It’s almost easier to think of this as an experience rather than just a song.

The stunning guitar combined with the fast paced violin are a heart -breaking combination in " "Till The World Lifts Its Head Again" and are a real compliment to the lyrics. They almost bring a feeling of reminiscence to the listener. There is also some, delicate, elegant string work in there that really elevates. The single really demonstrates a range in the artists talent, and what's to come in the new album. 

As soon as the track begins, the listener is immediately transported to an 18th century European village, with all the village folk dancing around a fire to an upbeat song such as this. It's original and unique, especially in this day and age!
