Rumy - Angels in the Snow

Rumy has released a new EP titled "Angel's in the Snow"

The EP is introduced by "Emblems"

This track fuses together hip-hop, rap and spoken word poetry, in an eerie concoction of hypnotic composition and addictive melodies.

Following a relaxed trap beat, Rumy's buttery smooth vocals paint a narrative so endearing you're hooked from the first ever second.

The 2nd song on this 4 track EP is "Cash Rules"

The production of the track has an integral part to play in its sound, making the flow of the music feel smooth on a whole other level. Most music nowadays does have a respectable level of production but to get track like this, that highlights the vocals and instrumentation in an aesthetically pleasing manner in addition to its incredible composition is a real treat for the listener.

The lyrics flow off the tongue, it has a unique ethereal style.

Next is "The Downfall" - (Rumy, Siphiwe)

The instrumentation is fronted by a strong, melodic groove and rhythmic vocals, where model adlibs resonating from harmonic backing vocals dance around the main vocal line. Both the rhythms of the vocal phrasing and the keys used stray far from the simple shores of rap, creating an enticing level of curiosity around the music. Its intriguing, smooth and downright dreamy.

The last song in this ambient EP is "Angels".

Open to interpretation, lyrically, the track have a personal message at its core. "Angels" has the most urban feel out of all the EP.

Hiphop and indie rap are the prominent sounds, armed with distinctive wavy backing music, it will leave you living away wherever you listen to it, the mesmerising nature will blow you away.
